Finals week: notes from a librarian

Typically, in the last week of every module, there are certain things students need to do:
  • Take the end-of-mod survey. This can be found at Access.compasspro.com.
  • Review your material to prepare for finals; read this great list of test-taking tips.
  • Turn your books in to the book room.
  • Return any borrowed books to the library.
  • Look ahead to the next module: find out where the class will be held and what special supplies you might need. Talk to your teacher!

Root beer floats and blood drive: not the same event!

Thursday, June 18: Free root beer floats in honor of dads everywhere! Free for dads. In Student Lounge, during the long breaks.

Blood Drive news: Thanks to everyone for participating in Wednesday's blood drive with Delta Blood bank. Due to the Student Diplomats' relentless pursuit of staff and students, 75% of the signed up participants followed through with their appointments today (36/48); 77% of the donors made a successful deposit to the blood bank (28/36); and collectively, we have made a positive impacted 84 lives today. Event starts at 9 a.m. and runs 24 hours until 9 a.m. the next day.

You don't have to stay the entire time, but it's great if you can make a commitment for a few hours.
